The evolutionary method to extend the life of wind farm components (Metodología Evolutiva para la Extensión de Vida de Componentes Eólicos, MEEVCE) is funded by the Basque Government under ELKARTEK type I 2022.
Project funded by the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government (ELKARTEK 2022 Programme).
THE MEEVCE FOCUSES ON GENERATING KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AN EVOLUTIONARY METHOD TO EXTEND THE LIFE OF WIND FARM COMPONENTS IN ACTUAL OPERATING CONDITIONS.
This project also aims to improve the scientific, technological and commercial position of the Basque Science and Technology Network and of Basque companies in the wind power sector.
MEEVCE is funded by the Basque Government's Department for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment (ELKARTEK 2022 programme).

The online meeting, held on 20 October, was attended by project partners and members of the Advisory Board (AEROBLADE, LAULAGUN, NABLA WIND and MUGAPE), who made valuable contributions on the progress of the project, with a focus on future transfer and application of the technological developments carried out in the framework of this project.

After participating in the opening ceremony of the REIF 2023 event, which is taking place in the city of Koriyama, in the Japanese prefecture of Fukushima, the Basque Minister for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, Arantxa Tapia, visited the stand where 8 Basque hydrogen and wind energy companies are participating.
