On 13th December, MEEVCE Consortium partners met to review the work carried out over the last few months.
On 13th December, the MEEVCE consortium met to follow up on the ELKARTEK project.
Each partner had the opportunity to present the progress made so far, each on different topics: IKERLAN showed work related to quenching and tempering by #gear heat induction; CEIT in the area of quenching and tempering of alloy steels used in wind turbine shafts; MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA discussed advanced degradation and impact prediction models and holistic models; and BEARINN made a summary of the tasks related to #bearings. Finally, the Basque Energy Cluster presented an outreach plan together with the communication and outreach materials they have developed.
Before the end of the meeting, MONDRAGON UNIBERTSITATEA showed the other partners the blades presenting wear and tear that they designed using 3D printing and which will be used in small-scale tests.
