The launch meeting of the Elkartek MEEVCE II project was held on 8 October at the headquarters of the coordinator, Ikerlan.
The MEEVCE II project aims to generate the necessary knowledge to develop an evolutionary design methodology that guarantees the resilience and reliability of critical components in wind turbines.
To this end, the technological partners will work in the field of degradation mechanisms in different wind turbine components: Ceit on the shaft; Bearinn, Laulagun's R&D unit, on bearings; Ikerlan on the gearbox and Mondragon Unibertsiatea on the blade. In addition, the Basque Energy Cluster will be responsible for communication, dissemination and transfer activities.
